The Saints Go Marching In
2009.11.05
At mass today, the entire class of third grade dressed up as their saints. Siena is dressed as Saint Theresea "Little Flower" and her friend Carly as Joan of Arc. They were both chosen to stand in front of the church and do the hand gestures to a few of the songs sung.

This is Gabe and his eighth grade buddy, James. I love that they do this with the first grade. His buddy not only guides him through church, but comes to class for projects and other activities. Since the eighth grade is so small, each eighth grader has two first grade buddies. James' other buddy is also named Gabe. Gabe really thinks James is the best.
